“Remember volunteers are unpaid not because they are worthless but because they are priceless.”—Anonymous
You...As a volunteer
We need many volunteers for ongoing activities,
everything from operating the excursion car to staffing the Museum Store and the Visitors Center to helping with the painting and maintenance!
We can use your skills and as much or as little of your time as you wish to offer.
The work available ranges from the clerical to the physically demanding.
Whether you are a rail fan, a history buff,
a retired person or just someone who would like to explore a new hobby and meet people,
we urge you to join us!
Current projects needing volunteers:
- fundraising
- reorganizing the shop
- waterfront park development
- track repair and construction
- car painting and restoration
- unlimited projects large and small!

You...As a donor
We depend upon private donations and revenue from the ride and
the Museum Store to cover the costs of material and equipment.
There are many projects, both large and small,
which require more funding to carry them out.
Chief among these are the installation of overhead electric wire,
trolley restoration, the expansion and rehabilitation of track,
and equipment delivery.
Your donation will provide vital support for these programs.
Please join us as a donor or volunteer by calling us at (845) 331-3399.
Thank you!
