New Jersey Public Service receives PCC cars

Streamlined cars for Newark City Subway

The first of the streamliners has arrived at the Newark shops of the Public Service Transportation Company and is shown here about to be rolled from a railroad flat car down a specially constructed ramp. Thirty of these cars will replace older equipment now in service. Photos taken Wed. August 12, 1953.

This car is former Twin City #360.
