601 is an Osgood-Bradley Safety Car, also called an "Electromobile," built in 1930.

Number 601 was originally built for the streetcar lines of New Bedford, Massachusetts. It was later purchased for use in New York City on the Queensboro Bridge. It was the last streetcar to operate in regular passenger service in New York State until Buffalo started Light Rail service in 1985. Car 601 is in extremely poor condition. There has been little local interest in its restoration. At this point, a conventional restoration may be out of the question due to its poor condition, rather it will be a recreation.

Dimensions: 44'-1" x 8'-5" x 10'-1", Weight: 36,700 lbs., Seating Capacity: 44
